Bicester Village has reopened and, as part of their Do Good programme, their first ever charity boutique has opened its doors, where shoppers can purchase coveted fashion and bridal items at amazing prices.
The Stella x Smart Works and Brides Do Good pop-up boutique will be open until the 9th May and will offer both new and pre-loved pieces from renowned brands such as Victoria Beckham, The Fold, Ghost, Cefinn and many more. There'll also be curated edits generously donated from the wardrobes of stylish fashion insiders including Martha Ward, Pippa Vosper, Alexandra Burke and Katherine Ormerod. Funds raised from the pop-up will go directly to Smart Works and Brides Do Good.
At the Brides Do Good part of the pop-up, shoppers will be able to purchase the best of British and sustainable bridal with exclusive collections donated by Catherine Deane, Halfpenny London, Roksanda, Sassi Holford, Savannah Miller, Savin London and more – a really exciting opportunity for post-pandemic brides to shop for their wedding dress sustainably, whilst supporting great causes, benefitting from a sizeable discount and sharing a unique and magical moment with others from the bridal community.
As search platform Lyst reported in December 2020, searches for 'vintage', 'secondhand' and 'pre-owned' wedding dresses were up 38% year-on-year, the pop-up is expected to be a popular addition to Bicester Village.
In addition to The Stella x Smart Works and Brides Do Good boutique other new brands include the chic, modernist label Jil Sander and the skateboarder's favourite, Vans, plus Off White, Bang & Olufsen and Benefit Cosmetics. Parisian fashion label Isabel Marant will be opening in May along with Spectrum Beauty as a pop-up boutique.
For those who cannot make it to the village, the highly successful Virtual Shopping services will still be available.
