Most popular TikTok wedding car revealed
Gone are the days of a horse-drawn carriage or a Rolls Royce pulling up to the wedding chapel, now it's all...
Award-winning, English sparkling grower-producer, Rathfinny Wine Estate partners with Cotswolds gastropub, The Feathered Nest, for a summer offering on their beautiful terrace overlooking the Evenlode Valley. The traditional 15t- century inn – located 7 miles from the historic village of Bourton-on-the-Water – is a hidden gem for food and wine lovers, offering a high-quality restaurant with rooms.
The terrace will feature a bespoke Rathfinny bar, ice buckets, cushions and blankets, perfect for guests to relax and unwind with a glass of Sussex from lunch until dusk. Having been loyal supporters of the vintage winemaker for a while, The Feathered Nest is honoured to be partnering with Rathfinny this summer to showcase their portfolio of Sussex Sparkling wines throughout the restaurant including with the afternoon tea, bar menu and tasting menu.
Highlights include the dover sole with 2020 Mini Cuvée and Rathfinny 2019 Classic Cuvée with the tuna and 2019 Rosé with the strawberry dessert in the six-course tasting menu. Ever a food-friendly sparkling wine, the 2019 Classic Cuvée and Rosé is also offered with the quintessential English afternoon tea which features a selection of four finger sandwiches using fresh, seasonal ingredients such as home-smoked salmon and cream cheese and garden cucumber, accompanied with scones and a selection of cakes. Guests will also have the first opportunity to try Rathfinny 2020 Mini Cuvée in the newly legislated 50cl format, following a successful launch in the spring. This innovative bottle appeals to growing consumer trends in drinking less but better-quality wine. Its modesty prevents wastage by providing the perfect solution for a couple of diners, serving four glasses as opposed to six in a standard 75cl bottle.
